Kaye Stephens presents bookmarks for fourth graders and teachers to Sharon Hodges of the Emanuel County Board of Education. The bookmarks include symbols of the United States as well as The American’s Creed. They are an annual project of the Patriotic Education committee of the St. Philip’s Parish Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Colonists.
NSDAC are women who are descendants of men and women who were residents of America when it was under foreign government as colonies and who served in 27 categories of acceptable patriotic
or civil service prior to July 4, 1776.
Other Emanuel County Daughters of the Statesboro Chapter are Jane Durden, Ann Lawson, Connie Page, Glynda Sasser, Barbara Stokes, and Judy Womack.
