As a means of reminding people of times and places in history in which all did not share freedom, and of the importance of continuing to advocate for freedom for all people, the Youth Enrichment Ministry of Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church in the Cross-Green Community recently sponsored a celebration in honor of Juneteenth 2023. The festival was held in the Community Park and included prayer, action songs, facts, and lunch.
