Swainsboro High School recently named Danaria Phillips DAR Good Citizen for Class of 2022. Sponsored by the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Good Citizen Award was created in 1934 to recognize and reward individuals who possess the qualities of dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism in their homes, schools, and communities.
Phillips was nominated by the faculty and chosen by the senior class because she demonstrates the above qualities to an outstanding degree. She will now participate in the scholarship portion of the program that consists of a personal statement and an essay.
