The Governor David Emanuel-Adam Brinson Chapter of the DAR recently held its monthly meeting at the Sudie Fulford Center. The highlight of the meeting was the presentation by member Connie Page on the impact of artificial intelligence on family research.

The Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) has long been recognized not only as a patriotic organization but also as one of the most influential forces in American genealogical research. Artificial intelligence has added a new dimension to this research.

Page highlighted the many advantages artificial intelligence provides in conducting family research. Its ability to rapidly organize information is faster and more efficient. Page revealed the depth of this tool using examples of her research. Additionally, she guided members on how to get started using this powerful tool in the future.

Family research through DAR is about more than names and dates. It connects individual families to the founding ideals of the nation and brings history to life on a personal level. By discovering the sacrifices and contributions of Revolutionary ancestors, descendants gain a deeper appreciation for the freedoms they enjoy today.
