As a reminder, the library will continue hosting crafts in Twin City at the Welcome Center every Monday at 10 a.m. Everyone is encouraged to attend and enjoy a morning of creativity and fellowship. The library is also excited to announce that Bill Packard will be the next featured Summer Reading Program performer. His magic show will take place on Tuesday, June 16, at 10 a.m. Patrons of all ages are invited to attend and enjoy the fun. Due to Summer Reading Program activities and performances, the library may be louder than usual during certain times throughout June. Patrons seeking a quieter space are welcome to ask about use of the library’s Study Room, which is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Don’t forget about this week’s crafts! Call or visit the library to sign up for upcoming events and activities. Please also note that the library will be closed June 19 in observance of Juneteenth. Patrons are encouraged to plan their visits accordingly. The library will reopen on Saturday, June 20, from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m. For additional library assistance or questions, call (478) 237-7791 or visit 331 West Main Street in Swainsboro.
