Oak Chapel Baptist Church will observe Homecoming on Sunday, Nov. 6, beginning at 10:30 a.m. Services will be held in the church fellowship hall, followed by a covered dish luncheon. The guest speaker will be Mark Sweat. With degrees from both Brewton Parker College and Georgia Southern University, he taught school for 41 years. During that time and since then, Brother Mark has helped churches in transition. He has been pastored at Friendship Baptist in Reidsville and at Canoochee Baptist Church. He and his wife, Terry, have one son and two grandchildren. Mrs. Elizabeth Way and her daughter, Bethany, will bring the special music. Pastors Tommy Henry and Ray Jenkins invite everyone to this special time at Oak Chapel.
