Notice is hereby given that the city of Swainsboro has levied upon the following property of Gertrude Bennett to satisfy city taxes owing to the said city for the year(s) of: 2016, 2017, 2018, & 2019 in the initial tax amount a $475.59 Amount could include additional cost and interest. This can only be calculated when tax is satisfied.
All that lot or parcel of land lying, situate, and being in the City of Swainsboro, 53rd G.M. District of Emanuel County, Georgia fronting Seventy-Five (75) feet on Williams Street and extending back between parallel lines a distance of Two Hundred Sixty (260) feet, as shown by plat made by Walter K. Maupin, Surveyor, dated June 18, 1963, which is recorded in the Office of the Clerk, Emanuel Superior Court, in Plat Book 2, Page 209, to which reference is made as a part of this description, and bounded now or formerly as follows: Northwest by lands of Leila Woods; Northeast by lands of Magnolia Pughsley Estate, lands of Ethel Warren, lands of Harvey Chance, and lands of Dessie Lyons; Southeast by Williams Street; the Southwest by lands of Leonard Nunn Estate. Said property is the same as that conveyed to the Grantor herein by Warranty Deed dated June 24, 1963 from Dessie Lyons which is recorded in said records in Deed Book EJ, page 250. (S15025)
Said property will be sold before the courthouse doors in Emanuel County. Georgia on the first Tuesday in August 04, 2020, between the legal hours of sale in order to satisfy said tax
