Notice is hereby given that the city of Swainsboro has levied upon the following property of Sherry Turner % Ricky & Trent Turner to satisfy city taxes owing to the said city for the year(s) of: 2018 & 2019 in the initial tax amount of $2,542.48 Amount could include additional cost and interest. This can only be calculated when tax is satisfied. All that tract or parcel of land situate, lying and being in or near the City of Swainsboro, 53rd G.M. District, Emanuel County, Georgia containing 11.49 acres, more or less, as shown on a plat of same by Walter K. Maupin, Surveyor, dated June 4, 1979, recorded in Plat Book 10, Page 300, in the Office of the Clerk, Superior Court, Emanuel County, Georgia, to which reference is made for a more complete, accurate and detailed description of said property. Said property is bounded now or formerly as follows: North by a county road; East by a railroad bed and property of Frank Miller; South by Jack E. Davis; and West by Old Wadley Road, and being the Northern half of property conveyed to Spivey State Bank by Brantley tIE & Pallet Company on February 1, 1979. LESS AND EXCEPT: All that tract or parcel of land situate, lying and being in the 53'd G.M. District of Emanuel County, Georgia and in the City of Swainsboro, and containing one acre, more or less, all as shown by that certain plat of survey dated July 8, 1988 by Walter K. Maupin, Georgia Registered Land Surveyor No. 1036, and being recorded in Deed Book 13, Page 473, of the Emanuel County Records, which plat and the reference thereof is incorporated herein by specific reference as if though fully set our herein for a more complete and accurate description. Said portion having been conveyed to L.P. Kottong et al by deed dated July 27, 1988, recorded in Deed Book 8, Page 458, of the Emanuel County Records. ALSO LESS AND EXCEPT: All that tract or parcel of land situate, lying and being in the 53rd-G.M. District of Emanuel County, Georgia and also mostly in the City of Swainsboro and containing 8.93 acres, more or less, together with all improvements located thereon, all as shown by that certain plat of survey dated October 19, 1992 and revised March 29, 1995, by Walter K. Maupin, Georgia Registered Land Surveyor No. 1036, said plat of survey being recorded in Plat Book 17, Page 283, of the Emanuel County Records, which plat and the reference thereof is incorporated herein as if though fully set our herein for a more complete and accurate description. The within described property is bounded now or formerly as follows: On the East by lands now or formerly of Frank Miller; on the South by lands now or formerly of Jack D. Davis and other property of Ricky L. Turner and Sherry L. Turner; and on the Northwest by the right-of-way of Ralph Lee Street. (075 123)
Said property will be sold before the courthouse doors in Emanuel County. Georgia on the first Tuesday in August 04, 2020, between the legal hours of sale in order to satisfy said tax this 1st day of July 2020.
