Noochee Farms announces winners of first coloring contest

Posted

Creativity was on full display at Noochee Farm Stand as the community came together for the farm’s very first Coloring Contest. With entries submitted by children of various ages, the contest proved to be both a fun and meaningful way to connect families and celebrate local talent.

What made this contest especially unique was the inspiration behind the artwork. Each coloring page was created from real-life photos taken around Noochee Farms — including the charming farm stand, the daylily garden, and scenes from the small farm itself. This gave participants a chance to bring familiar, local scenery to life with their own creative touch.

Hosted by Noochee Farms, the contest invited young artists to submit their best coloring pages, each one filled with imagination, bright colors, and unique personal touches. The response from the community exceeded expectations, making the judging process both exciting and challenging.

“We were blown away by the creativity and effort that went into each entry,” said Dawn and Richard Arnette of Noochee Farms. “It truly made it difficult to choose winners because every single one was special in its own way.”

After careful consideration, several winners were selected and awarded Easter baskets in recognition of their outstanding work. As a special touch, the winning coloring pages will be proudly displayed inside the Noochee Farm Stand for visitors to enjoy.

The contest marks the first of what Noochee Farms hopes will become a regular tradition, offering fun, family-friendly activities that bring the community together.

Located under the pecan trees in Canoochee, the self-serve, honor-system farm stand continues to offer a variety of homemade goods, local favorites, and seasonal items for visitors from surrounding areas.

Noochee Farms extends a heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated and supported the event. Community members are encouraged to stop by the stand to view the artwork and continue supporting local.
