New Hope World Outreach Black History Program

Posted

New Hope World Outreach, Inc. will have its annual Black History Program themed "We Have Come This Far By Faith" on Sunday, February 18, at 3 p.m. Featured speaker will be Ms. Amber Street, daughter of Gwendolyn Street and Clayton Brown of Swainsboro. She has one son, August Street. Ms. Street holds a Master of Education from the University of West Georgia and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Georgia State University. She has been an educator for ten years and currently teaches at Swainsboro Elementary School. Ms. Street is also Swainsboro Elementary Teacher of the Year for the 2023-2024 school year.

Ms. Street attributes her roots of faith as being planted by her family, especially her grand-mother, the late Martha Street of Lester Grove Baptist Church and her grandfather, the late Earl Street of St. Paul AME. She humbly aspires to use the gifts and talents blessed upon her to uplift the youth and inspire others toward futures full of purpose and benevolence.

Please join us in this celebration at New Hope where the pastor is Pastor Jeanette H. Harden.
