Mt. Zion Church Black History program

Mt. Zion Church in Garfield held their Black History program on February 25, at 5 p.m. with speaker Minister Janet Greene. Minister Janet Greene graduated at the top of her class as valedictorian from Full Gospel School of Ministry. Minister Janet Greene has served as a senior pastor for seven years. She received her first certificate of ordination in 1987, a second credential of ordination in 1991 and yet another in 1993. Also, Minister Janet Greene has a M.B.A with a Concentration in Leadership from Newman University where she graduated Cum Laude with a B.S. in Bus Management. She has an A.A. in Liberal Studies as well. In addition, Minister Janet Greene received a Rhomania Image Award in recognition of Influential Civic and Social Standing from Gamma Chi Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority. Lastly, Minister Janet Greene has worked as an Urban Outreach Director for the Wichita YMCA and an Adjunct Professor at Chattahoochee Technical College in Marietta, Georgia.
