Mr. Hostilo celebrates fourth birthday

Posted

Kyson Shaw Hostilo had friends and family “racing” over to his parents’ house on November 9 to celebrate his fourth birthday in style with a Lightning McQueen party. He turned 4-years-old the next day, November 10.

The theme of the party was carried out using black tablecloths, and each table had a centerpiece made of orange cones with racing flags attached. The food table was a Mack truck made of boxes with a long table for the trailer to hold the food. Refreshments included “hot rod” hot dogs, “Mater’s tater” chips, dip, “white wall and black wall tires” (donuts), “Sally’s cozy cones” (Bugles), “Mack’s mac and cheese,” and Kool-Aid at the “fueling station.”

Guests enjoyed a sheet cake with buttercream frosting, which was decorated with a road cut in the shape of the number “4” with a Lightning McQueen car and checkered flag border.

A bouncy house was set up for the birthday boy and his friends to enjoy. All of his guests received a “fuel for the road” treat bag as they departed.

Celebrating with Kyson were his parents, Kyle and Krista Hostilo; his big sisters, Kyleigh and Kaybreigh Hostilo; grandparents Teddy and Vicki Bailey; grandmother Anne Hostilo; great-grandmother Molline Thompson; great-grandmother Shelba Bailey; Andy, Sarah, Caden, and Cullen Tapley (aunt, uncle, and cousins); great-uncle Bobo Herring and cousins Trent, Tucker, and Tatum Herring.

Kyson also celebrated his birthday at Southeastern Technical College on Monday, November 11.
