The Veterans at the Library held their weekly Monday morning breakfast at 9:30 a.m. at Franklin Memorial Library in the George L. Smith II room. With Chair John Tapley presiding, we had 29 in attendance including Joyce Fennell, Mary Ann Smith and Sherri Watt. Our two newest veterans to meet with us are Willie L. Harden, Jr. and Delmus G. Mosley, Sr. Willie is a veteran of the 878th Combat Engineer Battalion and the 810th Sapper Company of the Georgia Army National Guard. Willie deployed overseas and is a combat veteran with his Army Guard Battalion on 2 tours in Iraq and 1 tour in Afghanistan. He retired with over 20 years of service. Delmus is the owner and Director of the Mosley Funeral Home. He served in the United States Air Force from 1966 through 1977.
