Ms. Karen Wiggins is pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of her daughter, Anna Brooke Wiggins, to David Chandler Eckler, son of Mr. and Mrs. Tony Eckler of Fitzgerald. Anna is also the daughter of the late Mr. Randall Wiggins.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Betty Donaldson and the late Mr. Eddie Donaldson of Twin City, and Mrs. Betty Ann Wiggins and the late Mr. Jimmy Wiggins of Swainsboro.
Anna graduated as valedictorian of Emanuel County Institute in Twin City. She continued her education at the University of Georgia, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion, graduating summa cum laude. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Medicine degree at Mercer University School of Medicine in Savannah.
The future groom is the grandson of Mrs. Anita Stafford and the late Mr. Pat Stafford of Fitzgerald, Mr. Phillip Minton and the late Mrs. Carolyn Minton of Virginia, and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Eckler of Florida.
Chandler graduated as valedictorian of Fitzgerald High School. He continued his education at the University of Georgia, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, and at Georgia Southern University, where he earned a Master of Accounting degree. He is currently a Certified Public Accountant with Baker Tilly in Savannah.
