The Miss Southeast Georgia Scholarship Organization proudly presented the 47th annual Miss Emanuel Co/Miss Southeast Georgia/Miss Crossroads of the South Competition on Saturday, October 25, at East Georgia State College. The pageant consisted of Miss and Teen Competitions that included private interview, talent, evening wear, fitness and on-stage conversation. Three Miss and three Teen were crowned. The winners are Miss Southeast Georgia’s Teen Erin Dumas of Guyton, Miss Emanuel County’s Teen Erin Stanford of Swainsboro and Miss Crossroads of the South’s Ni’Karia Harper of Barnesville, Miss Southeast Georgia Sophia Tang of Augusta, Miss Emanuel County EmmaKate Broome of Kathleen and Miss Crossroads of the South Kylie West of Statesboro. These ladies will compete at Miss Georgia and Miss Georgia’s Teen competition to be held in June in Columbus.
Other awards presented were: People’s Choice – JW Watson (Miss) and Erin Stanford (Teen); Miss Congeniality – Sophia Tang (Miss) and Sydney Lively (Teen); Overall awards: Bob Ritchie Memorial Photogenic - EmmaKate Broome; Alyssa Beasley; Overall Talent – Erin Stanford; Teen Talent – Erin Stanford; Teen Evening Wear – Erin Stanford; Miss Talent - Kylie West; Miss Evening Wear – Kylie West.
