Mr. and Mrs. Joey Pittman of Metter are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Roslyn Carol Pittman, to Matthew Keith Thompson, son of Amanda Braddy and Mr. and Mrs. Keith Thompson, all of Swainsboro.
The bride-elect is 2013 honor graduate of Metter High School and a 2020 graduate of Georgia Southern University where she received her Education Specialist Degree in School Psychology. Roslyn is employed with Candler County Board of Education as a school psychologist. Miss Pittman is the granddaughter of John and Brenda Sheldon of Metter and the late Wayne Grimes of Twin City and Donna Pittman and the late Joe W. Pittman of Metter.
The future groom attended Swainsboro High School and is a 2016 graduate of Penn Foster. Matthew is employed with UPS. Mr. Thompson is the grandson of Sharon Manning and the late Milton Womack and Gail Thompson and the late Billy Thompson, all of Swainsboro.
The couple will exchange vows in a private ceremony on May 11, 2024. A celebration honoring the couple will be held at The Brice House. Formal invitations will be sent.
