Miss Lumley, Mr. Rogers announce engagement

Mr. and Mrs. Terry Lumley are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Ansley Grace Lumley, to Jimmy C. Rogers III of Statesboro. Mr. Rogers is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy C. Rogers Jr. of Statesboro.

The bride-elect is a 2018 graduate of David Emanuel Academy. Ansley is currently employed at the Emanuel County Sheriff’s Office. Miss Lumley is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Spence of Midville and Ms. Diane Wilson and the late Harry Lumley of Oak Park.

The future groom is a 2015 graduate of Statesboro High School. Jim is employed by Y-Delta in Statesboro. Mr. Rogers is the grandson of Mrs. Constance C. Sanders and the late Thomas L. Sanders of Statesboro and Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy C. Rogers Sr. of Statesboro.

The wedding is set for March 2, 2024, at 5 p.m. at First Methodist Church of Swainsboro. A reception will follow at Faircloth Cabin.
