The 2023 Miss East Georgia State College Scholarship Pageant will be held Saturday, April 15, at 6 p.m. in the Luck F. Gambrell Center Auditorium on the EGSC Swainsboro campus. Family and friends of the contestants, students, and the community are invited to attend the free event.
The nine contestants will compete for the crown in the categories of interview, on stage question, casual wear, and evening gown. Each contestant has selected a platform project they plan to complete during their rein if they are chosen to represent EGSC. For their platform, they organize a plan for volunteering and completion of the project that they present to the judges.
Miss EGSC 2022, Carleigh DeFee, will share memories of her year during the event. Special entertainment will be provided by All Star Dance Academy.
The pageant is hosted by EGSC’s Student Government Association. EGSC, SGA and the contestants ask the community to join them on April 15.
