Michael McClellan, age 35, beloved son, father, brother and friend, passed away Sunday, September 17, 2023, in Panama City Beach, Florida.

Michael was born on June 3, 1988, to his adoring parents, Roger McClellan of Anniston AL, and Meloney Wilkes of Swainsboro. He was a graduate of Geneva County High School and an employee of the USPS, and he later carried on and started his own business. Michael will be profoundly missed by all who knew him. His infectious laugh, warm smile, and kindhearted nature left an impact on the lives of those fortunate enough to have crossed paths with him. He had a genuine love for his family, friends, and the community he called home. Michael loved to travel and visit any place with live music, imported fine cigars, and sushi. Beyond his love for travel, Michael was quite the entertainer, never missing an opportunity to sing karaoke with his friends. Michael's memory will live on as a beacon of love, compassion, and kindness. His family and friends find solace in the cherished moments and memories they shared with him. Though his physical presence may be gone, his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to have known him.

Mr. McClellan is survived by his mother and father; infant son, Coleman Allen; mother of his son, Mea Allen); wife, Heather of Panama City Beach FL; and five sisters, Tina Young (Dwight) of Blackshear, Amy Crane (Justin) of Waycross, Terri Howard of Twin City, Natalie Young of Swainsboro, and Miranda Brantley (Joseph) of Twin City; 15 nieces and nephews; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Michael touched the lives of many and will be remembered for his love, warmth, and selflessness. May he rest in eternal peace, knowing that his legacy lives on through the lives he impacted and the love he shared. “When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure.”
