CONSTITUTION WEEK
Swainsboro High School students celebrated Constitution Week Sept. 17-23. Setting up a display are Counselor Becky Hill; students Louis Bellamy and Alexis Riddles; and Jenny Daniels, science teacher. The students helped Governor David Emanuel Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution publicize the week for SHS students.
EMILY WARREN IS AWARDED ROUNTREE SCHOLARSHIP TO EGC
Emily J. Warren was awarded the Rountree Leadership Scholarship to East Georgia College from Bill Rountree. A 2001 graduate of David Emanuel Academy, she is the daughter of Emmett and Beck Warren of Stillmore. The scholarship is awarded on the basis of outstanding academic achievement and leadership accomplishments.
