SHS Students Visit Tech
Five Swainsboro High School students were guests of Georgia School of Technology in Atlanta. They were Jeff Buckley, Donald Lawrence, Keith Kersey, Ervin Cox and Perry Bishop.

Francis Durant crosses the finish line to take first place honors in the two-mile race track meet on the Swainsboro High School Field. Statesboro and Screven County high schools participated in the meet last week. Mr. Durant’s time was 10 minutes, 58 seconds. Girls’ and boys’ events were entered.
