Not Easter Eggs

Although Easter is approaching, the white dots on this patio are not Easter eggs. Shortly after a severe weather forecast was issued around 3 p.m. last Thursday afternoon, parts of Swainsboro were hit with a hail storm. Hail the size of golf balls fell south of Swainsboro amid a mixture of high winds, rain and intermittent sunshine.

Not only do they make a peaceful picture, but these ducks remind us of the adage: “Be like a duck— be calm on the surface, but paddle like the dickens underneath”.
