MISS COWART IS JOHNSON HD AGENT
Miss Lynda Cowart of Twin City was named home demonstration agent for Johnson County, with headquarters in Wrightsville. Miss Cowart resumed her duties on August 1, succeeding Miss Maggie Bethea, who retired after 47 years as an HD agent.
TANNER PROMOTED IN REA
Bob Tanner Jr. formerly of Twin City was named director of advertising for National Rural Electric Consumer publications. Mr. Tanner, who served as regional manager in Chicago, was elevated to the national post at a meeting of the board of directors of NRECP held in Topeka, KS.
