JOYNER TAKES GSC DUTIES
Lloyd Joyner Jr. of Twin City became the new registrar at Georgia Southern College in Statesboro on July 5. He replaced Miss Viola Perry, who served as registrar since 1928 and retired effective July 1.
METHODISTS REELECT SCHWABE; TO INTSTALL ROTATING STEWARDS
Ed Schwabe was reelected chairman of the official board of the First Methodist Church of Swainsboro. In addition, the board also voted to install a rotating system of elected stewards. The new system began effective with the 1962-63 conference year. It was approved without a dissenting vote.
