THOMPSON IS NAVAL AVIATOR

LT. J.P. Michael Nonan Thompson received his “Wings of Gold” in a ceremony at the chapel at the Naval Air Station in Meridian, MS. Dec .7, concluding two years of Naval aviation training. He completed training aboard the aircraft carrier, U.S.S John F. Kennedy on Nov. 30.



EGC’S AFRICAN AMERICAN UNION MAKES HISTORIC TRIP

The East Georgia College African American Union made a black history tour of south Alabama Nov. 9-10. The group visited Tuskegee University on the afternoon of Friday, Nov. 9.
