Luck Gambrell Park
Mrs. Luck Gambrell, second from left, was honored by a park named after her during the ribbon cutting of the Early Settler Cemetery in Swainsboro. Among well-wishes attending the event were Mayor Ricky Stevens, and Swainsboro City Council members Bob Williams, Douglas Overstreet, Donald Jenkins, Johnny Ray Stafford, and Rita Faulkner.

35 years
Jim Warnock, postmaster of Swainsboro Post Office, presented Danny Greenway with a 35-year service pin. Greenway began his career with USPS on April 28, 1966. His positions included city carrier, distribution clerk, and registry clerk. “He is an asset to the Postal Service and should be commended”, said Warnock.
