Mrs. Mary Lynn Mikell, 58, of Metter, passed away Thursday, October 7, 2021. Services will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Mikell was born December 21, 1963, in Corning, New York, to Joan Davis and the late Harry Fleming. Mary loved fishing, camping, hunting, the beach, the lakes in New York, and her grandkids. She was a member of the Methodist Church. Mrs. Mikell is preceded in death by her father; husband, Jack Mikell; and sister, Hope Pitts.
Survivors include her mother, Joan Fleming of Metter; son, Steve (Jessica) Pitts, Jr. of Metter; daughter, Danielle (Otis Brown) Salter; adopted sisters, Apryl, Vicki, Esther, and Karen; grandchildren, Remington Pitts, Trey Pitts, and Draak Salter; adopted grandchildren, Ava, Kylie, Kinsley, Aaron, and Darin; several great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Chapman Funeral Home of Swainsboro is in charge of arrangements.
