Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mrs. Mary Denise Fuller, age 64, of Metter, on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at East Georgia Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, April 20, at 11 a.m. at the Peebles-Curry Memorial Chapel with Willie Wood officiating and Scott Weigl assisting. Interment will follow in the Elam Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, April 19, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Mario Martin, Blaine Martin, Paul Muller, Garon Muller, Wesley Martin, Kalen Martin and Mason Martin. Honorary pallbearers are Wesley Wilder, Clyde Ellis, Gene Ellis, Gage Akins, Ethan Foster and Heath Foster.

Mrs. Fuller was born July 1, 1959, in Swainsboro, to Jot Wes Martin and Florence Elaine Foster. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Denise graduated from Emanuel County Institute in 1978 and graduated from Swainsboro Technical College, earn-ing a degree in Cosmetology. She loved to decorate and enjoyed spending time with her children and granddaughter. Denise was an avid shopper and a very caring person. She dedicated her life to her heavenly Father Jehovah God on July 18, 1975, as one of Jehovah’s Wit-nesses. Throughout the years, it was important to share her beliefs about Jehovah to anyone who would listen, including those nurses and doctors who took good care of her. Because of Denise’s strong faith in the resurrection hope, she was looking forward to spending everlasting life on a paradise earth when pain and suffering would be a thing of the past. Mrs. Fuller is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Charlotte Martin-Muller; sister-in-law, Jolly Mar-tin; grandparents, William Lewis and Lela ViLonea Harden Foster and Carey C. and Mamie Lou Rushton-Martin.

Survivors include her sons, Logan Fuller (Alexandria) of Twin City and Hunter Fuller (Faith) of Statesboro; granddaughter, Paisley Mae Mary Fuller; father of her children, Darren Fuller; brothers, Karon Martin of Warner Robins, Garrette Martin (Tomi), Owen Martin (Lois) of Bonaire, and Allen Martin of Swainsboro.
