Swainsboro Rotary Club held a weekly meeting at the Rustic Grill on July 18, 2022. New president, Kenneth Willoughby, welcomed the members and introduced the speaker for the meeting, Tony Mangeri, from the Swainsboro-Emanuel County Recreation Department. Mr. Mangeri gave a very interesting program on the recreation department and all the responsibilities and duties they have in our county. SECRD serves around 1,100 children in just the athletics division, not including all the residents and people from out of the county that enjoy the splash pad, walking park, dog park and other areas that they are responsible for. The club also welcomed new member, Harley Smith, from East Georgia College.
