Local students participate in commencement at Georgia College & State University

A number of local students participated in Georgia College & State University's spring 2026 commencement ceremonies May 13-14, 2026, in Milledgeville.

• April Woods of Swainsboro, a specialist candidate Educational Leadership major in the John H. Lounsbury College of Education

• Melissa Porter of Twin City, a specialist candidate Teacher Leadership major in the John H. Lounsbury College of Education

• Kaci Screws of Twin City, a master's candidate Elementary Education major in the John H. Lounsbury College of Education

• Lindsey Sconyers of Adrian, a specialist candidate Educational Leadership major in the John H. Lounsbury College of Education

• Jessica Conley of Twin City, a master's candidate Special Education major in the John H. Lounsbury College of Education
