Local family in need of assistance after losing home the week of Christmas

Posted

When times get tough, Emanuel County has a notorious reputation for watching out for their own. A local family is need of that same support. As of Monday, December 20, just five days before Christmas, a Twin City family lost their home and the majority of their belongings after a large tree fell and completely demolished the rental property occupied by a married couple and their three children (one girl and two boys). The family is currently staying with family members until another rental property can be located. However, they are in much greater need than just a place to call home. Below, please find a list of needed items submitted for the family by the mother. All donations are welcome and can include monetary funding.

Contact Whitley Clifton at 478-237-9971 for donation drop-off information. The family is also being assisted by Red Cross.
