Ms. Lizzie Randall Medlock, 79, of Swainsboro passed away September 3, 2020 at East Georgia Regional Hospital in Statesboro following an extended illness.
Funeral services were held Saturday, September 5, at 3 p.m. at Eastbrook Cemetery and Mausoleum with Evangelist Jeff Starkes officiating. The family received friends Saturday, September 5, from 2 to 3 p.m. at Eastbrook Cemetery and Mausoleum Chapel. In compliance with the guidelines set by the CDC, the 6' rule was enforced during the visitation and service.
Ms. Medlock was born August 29, 1941 in Barnwell, South Carolina to the late Lewis Randall and Janie Mae Lambert Randall. She loved to collect antiques, go to yard sales, shopping, and cooking when she was younger. Ms. Medlock was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Henry Medlock; and brothers, John D. Randall and Franklin Randall.
Survivors include her sons, Greg Randall and Henry C. Randall, both of Swainsboro, and step-sons, Jerome (Polly) Medlock and Ronnie Medlock, both of Metter.
Chapman Funeral Home of Swainsboro was in charge of arrangements.
