Mrs. Lizzie Pearl Cummings, age 85, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2022. A Remembrance of Life was held Friday, January 6, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Mosley’s Funeral Home Chapel.
Mrs. Cummings was the daughter of the later Cola Bell and Pughsley Bell, Sr. She was a homemaker and a former member of Brinson Hill Baptist Church in Wadley. After relocating to Swainsboro, Mrs. Pearl attended various churches in the area. Mrs. Cummings is preceded in death by her two sons, Gregory Cummings and Andrew Lee; siblings, Mamie Turner, Lillian McGahee, Rita Riggins, Gussie B. Strowbridge, Cleavon Bell, Lucious Bell, Pughsley Bell Jr., and Willie Mae Bell.
Mrs. Cummings voice will continue to echo in the memory of her son, Willie (Julia) Howard of Wadley; granddaughters, Sharvey Howard of Louisville and Karrelldo W. Howard of WAdye; grandsons, Trevol Howard, Charles Howard, both of Florida, and Brandon Willis of Oklahoma; a dear friend, Eddie Boyton; great-grandchildren, Faith, Patience, Williams, Guidance, Elijah, and Emanual; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Mosley’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
