On Tuesday night, October 10, the Fall Line Chapter Georgia Society Sons of the American Revolution, held its monthly meeting at the Washington County Chamber of Commerce at 7 p.m. With President Sandy Mercer presiding, they had six in attendance. After Chaplain Ken Lindsey said the prayer, President Sandy led the Pledge of Allegiance and the Pledge to the SAR. Sandy then asked Dess Smith III to introduce the speaker for the night. Dess introduced Mike Lisenby from Swainsboro to present his program, "Freedom Shrine". Mike's presentation included the Declaration of Independence, Articles of Confederation, Treaty of Paris, 1781 and the Constitution. President Sandy ended the meeting with the SAR Recessional.
