Library gets a Christmas check

The Mill Creek Foundation recently awarded Franklin Memorial Library $5,000 for fine art programs in our community. In addition to supporting the ongoing Adult Craft, the money will also fund new programs such as a guitar ensemble and traveling puppet shows for children. Money has also been designated toward camera and recording equipment for the library's virtual programs on Facebook. Denny Key and chairman of the board of trustees for the library, David Morgan, presented the check to Library Manager Gladys Collins.
