Mr. Lewis Edward Kersey, 77, of Adrian, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2024, following an extended illness. Graveside Memorial Service will be Saturday, February 3, 2 p.m. at Sardis Cemetery with Reverend Don Carroll officiating.
Mr. Kersey was born May 1, 1946, to the late Elgin Kersey and Hattie Horton Kersey. He loved woodworking. Lewis had a sweet tooth and a great sense of humor. He was of the Primitive Baptist Faith. Mr. Kersey is preceded in death by his parents; and five siblings.
Survivors include his daughter, Teresa Newman (Charles Knight) of Bartow; and two grandchildren.
Chapman Funeral Home of Swainsboro is in charge of arrangements.
