Dear Editor,
The Seedling Garden Club has just ended a very successful year. I want to thank you and your staff for the excellent coverage you have given us. Through The Forest-Blade, the community has been able to learn of our projects and educational meetings.
Special thanks to Melva Marsh. Many times, she went beyond the call of duty to assist us. I was happy to honor her with Garden Club of Georgia "Honorary Subscribing Membership." This is a program of GCG designed to honor an individual who is committed to the purposes and objectives of GCC without the necessity of becoming a member of a local club. Melva has truly committed herself by assisting us with the many write-ups and pictures promoting our club and GCG. We are fortunate to have a local newspaper like The Forest-Blade willing to publish our garden club activities.
We look forward to having your help when we begin a new year in September.
Sincerely,
Kay Peacock, President
Seedling Garden Club
