Cissy was born on April 9, 1962, in Swainsboro, to the late Alvin James Jackson and Carol Scarboro Jackson. She was a strong-willed woman with a big personality and a heart for adventure. Cissy loved to travel and take vacations, and if nobody else wanted to go, she was perfectly happy to go on her own. More than once, she surprised people with her many talents and determination.
