Mr. Larry Williams, age 62, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2022, following a brief illness. A Celebration of Life was held Sunday, January 8, 2023, at 2 p.m. in the Swainsboro City Auditorium with Dr. Rev. Robert Fullwood officiating and Min. Calvin Bell presiding.
Larry was born June 4, 1960, to the late George Williams and Berine Mincey. He received his early education in the Emanuel County School system where he played football, ran cross-country, sprinted in track and field, and loved weightlifting. After graduating, Larry married Annie J. Williams and they were blessed with a step-son, Joshua Butler. Together they had four children, Nicholas Williams, Katrina W. Luke, Christopher Williams, and Berine W. Miller. Larry was a long-time employee at Keller Ladders in Swainsboro. After the closing of Keller’s, Larry joined the team at Swainsboro Handi-House until her retired in September of 2005. He was a member of McLeod Covenant Baptist Church, where he served as trustee and usher.
Mr. Williams leaves to cherish his memories with his loving wife of 38 years; his 5 children; 14 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; 7 siblings; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, a host of cousins, and friends.
Mosley’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
