On Tuesday, February 21, the David Emanuel Academy Varsity Lady Eagles basketball team traveled to Louisville to play the Thomas Jefferson Academy Lady Jaguars in the first round of the state playoffs. Even though they played well, they were unable to beat the Lady Jaguars and lost with the final score being 62-41. Kyli Bell led the team with 20 points, Molly Hammock and Emma Proctor both scored 7 points, Aubrey Williams added 4 points, and Maddie Perkins had 3 points. Congratulations Lady Eagles on a great basketball season.
