The Kiwanis Club of Swainsboro held its weekly meeting on Tuesday evening, June 21, 2022, at Rustic Grille at 7 p.m. With President-Elect Tammy Allen presiding, there were 20 in attendance including 4 guests, Calder Ward, Erin Ward, Janna Tucker, Brett Tucker. The Turtle cake donated by John David Bailey was won by Tim Goodman. The Domino's pizza donated by Domino's Pizza was won by Jeff Brewer. The fresh tomatoes donated by Frank Patrick was won by John David Bailey. Chair Tim Goodman reminded everyone about the Firecracker 5K run on July 2, at 8 a.m. in Wrightsville, and to be there at 7:30 a.m. to help. Tammy passed out invitations to the 11 a.m. brunch on July 2 for all those who help time the run or just want to eat at Tammy's. Check with Tammy if you plan to attend. Bring your family. The program for the evening was hosted by Cindy Ware, and was presented by Janna Tucker, who owns All the Fixins. The brainchild of Janna and her husband Brett, All the Fixins focuses on pecans (PECAN [PEE-CAN]-THAT'S HOW YOU SAY IT, OK?!, but offers many more items. They are a small family owned and operated pecan producer of the summer variety of pecans with 40 acres of orchards located in Ocilla, GA. They prepare and package their pecans in Twin City, and sell plain, roasted and spiced pecans. In addition to items like spiced and roasted pecans, they offer bakery items with pecans in them. They sell their items wholesale to retailers, they do retail sales online and through a retail shop in Twin City, and they sell to corporations who buy for their clients. Very soon, they will be expanding to open a second “All the Fixins” in Swainsboro.
