Mrs. Kimberly Allison Ware, 56, of Twin City, passed away Sunday, May 14, 2023, at her residence following an extended illness. Memorial service was held Tuesday, May 16, at 3 p.m. at Swainsboro City Cemetery with Reverend Levi Carpenter officiating.

Mrs. Ware was born June 28, 1966, in Swainsboro, to the late Joe D. Ware and Judy Gray Fennell. She loved playing the lottery and listening to music. Kimberly was very crafty as she made bird houses, and she enjoyed cooking. She worked for Ware’s Barbeque for 14 years. Mrs. Ware is preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Jeffrey L. Stevens.

Survivors include her son, Sully Stevens (Gloria) of Swainsboro; daughters, Shanna Stevens (Ricky Hernandez) of Twin City, Nikki Stevens (Jason Brinson) of Swainsboro, and Seagi Stevens (Jimmy Barwick) of Kite; brothers, Chris Fennell (Racheal) of Pooler, Janson Ware (Sky) and Jarett Ware, both of Swainsboro; sisters, Kellie Meeks (Kenneth) of Swainsboro and Jacey Story (Matt) of Wrens; close friend, John Allen Johnson; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Chapman Funeral Home of Swainsboro was in charge of arrangements.
