Johnny Tapley announces his candidacy for mayor of Swainsboro. As a long-time resident of Swainsboro, he has witnessed the challenges and opportunities that have shaped the city and is able to contribute meaningfully to the growth and well-being of Swainsboro. Tapley is deeply invested in addressing the concerns and aspirations of our citizens and enthusiastic about working together to implement positive change. His goal is to foster an inclusive and transparent dialogue that reflects the diverse voices and experiences within our city.
Tapley’s top three priorities for our city are public safety and infrastructure, affordable housing and smart growth, and economic development. While working to improve the quality of life for all residents, having a vision for the city’s development over the next decade is essential.
Swainsboro has many positive services, and Tapley’s goal is to maintain these while addressing those that need to be changed and improved, while establishing new services.
