The month of March has always been labeled as cold, wet, windy and miserable. All of these are true, but March is quite special. We have Daylight Savings Time. St. Patrick’s Day, first day of Spring and best of all, the hummingbirds are coming back to Georgia to spend their summer with us. Our hummers should arrive around the middle of March. In 2013, 2016 and 2021, they arrived on March 16. If you are a true hummingbird fanatic, this is an exciting day. You will see them at your feeder and call all your friends who have the same sentiment towards these beautiful creatures.
