I know most of us are looking for peace, love, and support in today's world. Yes, everyone wants things their way. That's just human nature. The Word of God calls it the desires of the flesh. Now is a way to have peace, love and support.
In John 15:7 Jesus said, “If you abide in me and let my words abide in you, you shall ask what you will and it shall be done unto you”. In this scripture John chapter fifteen, Jesus talks about the branch abiding in the vine. He is the vine and we are the branches. He reminds us that without him (the vine) we can do nothing. Without him we will wither away and be casted into the fire and burned.
But if we abide in his Word, we will be provided whatever we ask him for. Now James says, "We have not because we ask not.” The condition for receiving is to abide in God's Word then you can ask whatever you will and it shall be done unto you. So what other formulas or solutions are you looking for?
To make it simple John later wrote in I John 2:6, “ He that says he abides in him, ought himself so walk as he walks.” To abide in Jesus is to get his Word and walk in it then you can ask what you will and it shall be done unto you. So who are you walking like? Or who are you walking with?
Just seek for God's Word as valuable treasures. His Word is more precious than jewels,silver or gold. Just get God's Word and abide which means to stay in it. So, “Just Abide”
