March is probably best known for celebrating St. Patrick’s Day and the return of Daylight Saving Time, but for some of us, it is the month hummingbirds return to Emanuel County. We said goodbye to them in October.
They have been spending the last five months in Central America and Mexico. Hummingbird Center does not show any sighting in Georgia yet. Last year they arrived in Emanuel County on March 16th with the earliest on March 9. However, they have been sighted in Jacksonville, Fla.
