Only once or twice in human history has it been done, but give credit where credit is due. The Democrats have it all figured out. If you watch the Fox News Network, and I do, you already know that the current Democratic administration has, since its inauguration, made about 3 million illegal immigrants just disappear into thin air. POOF, and they are gone! Now, let me say in an effort to hear all sides, I also watch the news on NBC, CBS, and CNN. On these three major networks, the coverage they have given to the border crisis for the past 6 months has only amounted to 1 to 5 percent of their total news broadcast minutes for any given news cycle. Lately, NBC has given a little more since the situation has gotten so bad. So bad, in fact that the Biden administration is now using all sorts of smoke and mirrors and gimmicks to hide the problem. Unbelievably, in the effort to conceal the incompetent handling of this true human crisis, this Democratic administration has simply ignored the problem. For months, the Biden border policy was just to pretend there was no crisis, and the media helped out by not covering it. Since it has worsened, Biden’s solution has been to introduce “on-line apps” that provide “reservations” for border criminals that give them permission to come into the country with court appearance dates scheduled up to six years into the future. Airline reservations were offered from the immigrant’s home country to random cities throughout the United States for “special” illegal entry. Free room and board are provided in abandoned military bases, tent cities, shuttered schools, and hotel rooms all across America along with free medical care and other services for over one million illegal immigrants. All this is done just to avoid the painful admission that this administration cannot or will not truthfully explain to the American public why they cannot protect this country from floods of dangerous, uncontrolled illegal immigration. The only two answers could be: (1) You don't know how to solve the problem or (2) You don't want to solve the problem because open borders mean more displaced people in desperate circumstances who will depend on government aid and likely become democratic voters. Last week Biden announced that 472,000 immigrants would be given social security numbers so they can look for a job, apply for a driver’s license and apply for all government programs and services. On Friday, September 23, the Department of Homeland Security released new data showing the number of illegal aliens encountered at the southern borders hit a record high in August. Customs and Border Patrol reported that over 200 illegal immigrants on terrorist and "no fly" watch lists were mistakenly processed and then released into this country. Despite President Biden’s claim that new policies were now in place to address these issues, more than 270,000 people illegally violated the laws of entry into this country in the 28-day period ending September 23, 2023. Those people are now on-board buses with no bus company name on the side headed for New York, San Diego, Minneapolis, Boston and other U.S. cities all over. Others from countries all across the world were illegally cutting barbed wire fences a week ago to get into the United States and now have the choice to fly to dozens of cities just so the Democratic administration can claim there is no illegal immigration problem, and the border is under control. Poof, and they disappear and leave no trace, and tomorrow there will be another nine thousand more crossing the Rio Grande River.
This country, my country, your country is in trouble today because of the policy, the management, and the lack of leadership of this administration. It is evident in every department and in every chair that is occupied in President Joe Biden’s cabinet. It will be challenging to right the ship, but a good place to start would be with the truth; in the oval office and every other office at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
