Homecoming King, Queen announced at East Georgia State College

East Georgia State College (EGSC) hosted its annual Homecoming Week February 19-24, 2024. On Saturday, February 24, the EGSC’s Men and Women’s Basketball Teams concluded the festivities with their games in the Bobcat Den. Between the basketball games the homecoming representatives were recognized along with the announcement of the new EGSC Homecoming king and queen. Ti’tianna Settles was named the 2024 EGSC Homecoming Queen and Jashawn Bacon was named the EGSC Homecoming King.

This year, EGSC had four homecoming representatives. McKinley Cameron Ravenell and Jashawn Bacon were the two homecoming king representatives, and Deshante’ Michelle Royal and Ti’tianna Settles were the homecoming queen representatives.

Ti’tianna Settles, the new EGSC Homecoming Queen, is a sophomore who plans to graduate from EGSC in the fall of this year. Settles is focusing her education on business and accounting. She is a member of the Unity Club and the EGSC Book Club.

Jashawn Bacon, the EGSC Homecoming King, is a sophomore from Camden County. He also plans to graduate from EGSC in the fall of this year and continue his education to major in film and communications. Bacon is a member of the African American Male Initiative (AAMI), Student Government Association (SGA), and he works within the Student Life Department at the college.

EGSC would like to congratulate all the representatives for being nominated and the new homecoming king and queen. Congratulations, Bobcats!
