The Emanuel County Historic Society will host its Annual Meeting at the Museum on 161 Museum Rd. (just north of Swainsboro) on Thursday, April 23 at 7 p.m. A short business meeting to elect officers and the board members will be held along with a potluck supper. Please bring your favorite dish to share. We’ll furnish drinks. You do not have to be a member to come to our meetings. The gate will be open at 5 p.m. if you would like to come tour Longview Farm and its 14 outbuildings. We have been rearranging the military collection and agricultural implements.
