A project has been completed at Longview Farm and Home Museum! The Highway 56 Drive-In Theater sign is now lit up with new neon, a long-awaited sight. NZ Signs measured, ordered, and installed the neon, and yes, these are the original colors! Do you remember those colors? Most folks thought white since the letters and numbers are painted white on the back board.
The Emanuel County Historic Society greatly appreciates our members and donors who contributed toward this project. We appreciate your patience as we navigated through several problems that occurred along the way.

Our next planned Open House will be October 17th from 10 AM - 4 PM with an exhibition of life in 1776 in celebration of our country’s 250th birthday. More information will be out later.
